This tierlist is based off what I see in my ranked games. I am currently in Plat 3 but I was in Diamond 3 at the start of the new season. Of course this is my opinion and its ok to disagree with my rankings.
Keep in mind there are 125 God/Goddess in the game now which is an insane amount. It is hard to give everyone of them a true and fair ranking because I just don't see everyone played.
As always I base the ranking on the impact the God/Goddess has in the game. I take some player skill into consideration but mostly think of it as each God/Goddess is being played at a high level.
This META has been a very interesting one since they changed up how healing works and nerfing some of the magical items. I feel like there are some more nerfs needed to bring everyone into balance but I think it is more some items need nerfs and not so many Gods/Goddesses.
Lastly some characters may be ranked lower just because they are outclassed by another character. Just because they are ranked lower doesn't mean they are bad there are just better picks available.

Best Tier
This Tier is for the current best characters in the game. Theses characters are usually banned or picked first because how strong they are. They can easily carry a game even with a team that is struggling.
Thor - Easily the best jungler in the game. He has the best ganks and the best ult for ganking. He also has great follow up and is able to escape anytime he needs to. It is really hard to stop a Thor. He is able to take over a game and keep constant pressure on every lane.
Mercury - Mercury may not be able to keep up with Thor on rotations and ganks but he doesn't need to. Once he gets online he can be very hard to stop without team coordination. Mercury is capable of hard carrying his team and is able to turn any fight around with a couple of autos. If he catches anyone out of position he can burst them down so quick.
Merlin - Merlin and Morgan are competing for the top mage spot. I believe you could make an argument for either that's why they are both up here. A late game Merlin is very dangerous and he can win most team fights on his own. He also has a pretty decent escape if he needs to get out. Very few characters can compete with his damage late game.
Morgan Le Fay - Like I said with Merlin you could argue that Morgan is the top mage to play. She does crazy damage and she has very spamable abilities. One downside is she doesn't have an escape ability but she doesn't really need one because 2 of her abilities can peel for herself. She is just very oppressive and can be very difficult to play against.
Martichoras - The best hunter in the game without a doubt. with so much damage and a really good ult he can pretty much out box any other hunter. He can set up perfect ganks with his stealth grass and can use that grass to hide if he needs to. He is still new to ranked so some players are struggling to play him to his full potential but the ones who do know how to play him take full advantage of his productivity.

Great Tier
This Tier is for characters that might make it through the ban phase and are really strong picks. Characters in this tier can carry a game by themselves but not as easily as characters in the Best Tier.

Good Tier
This Tier is for characters that usually don't get banned but are still really good picks for the team. These characters can carry a game with some help from the rest of the team.

Above Average Tier
This Tier is for characters with more strengths than weaknesses. Characters in this tier are solid picks if you are comfortable with them and have a team that can help you succeed with them.

Average Tier
This Tier is for characters that have pretty equal strengths and weaknesses. Characters in this tier can do good but can also do bad.

Below Average Tier
This Tier is for characters that have more weaknesses than strengths. Characters in this tier will need some help from there team to be successful. Although with perfect play these characters can still be pretty decent.

Situational/Niche Tier
This Tier is for characters that fit a certain niche or a situational pick that can be really good for the current situation.
Ares - So I think Ares overall is not that great but if you are able to pick him into the right team comp he can be a nightmare for enemy teams. He is easily the best beads burner in the game and if the enemies don't have their beads up or any way to cleanse the ult it is pretty much a guarantied kill. However against a team with lots of cleanses he can be difficult to team fight with.
Osiris - I don' think Osiris is great right now and I think it would be hard to play him against most comps. However I do think that he is one of the best anti heal fighters to have on the team. If he is able to ult a healer successfully it is a 100% healing reduction and he can probably burst them down depending on the situation. I would only pick Osiris if you are comfortable with him and you need some more anti heal.
Ah Puch - Ah Puch is in a really good spot right now. There are plenty of strong healers right now and he is a great counter pick for them. He hard counters both Aphrodite and Sylvanus which I think are 2 top characters. I would only pick him if there was quite a bit of healing on the other team because he does get out classed by other mages.
Kuzenbo - Kuzenbo is a decent pick against certain comps basically because of his reflect damage. He can really help beat some of the better hunters building crit. However if they chose not to build crit or just not attack Kuzenbo it can be hard for Kuzenbo to contribute. I believe he can flex to the Solo but he probably wouldn't win lane he would just be there for the late game. He is also a really good Mercury counter if Mercury tries to box him down. Since Mercury is a top pick, Kuzenbo can help slow him down.

Bad Tier
This Tier is for characters that don't preform really well and need a lot of help from the team to be viable. Even with perfect play it can be hard to win with these characters.
Kumbhakarna - Kumbha is the worst character in the game right now. His CC abilities aren't really that suppressing like they use to be. Other characters can do it better and have better CC abilities. His ult can be very counter productive for his team and can sometimes even save the enemy that was ulted. Overall there is no reason to be playing Kumbha with other Guardians available.
Nox - Nox is a character that consistently finds herself near the bottom of tierlists no matter how hard people try to make her work. There have been some changes to her kit to make her a bit more viable but the idea to do full damage requires you to still combo your 1 and 2. The problem with that is as a mage single target damage isn't that great and without the lockdown from the 1 characters can just leave the 2 without taking damage. As a support I feel like she can do a little bit more but she still gets outclassed by every other support except for maybe Kumbha.
Fafnir - This is a hard decision for me to do because I feel like Fafnir should never be this low but then when I really think about it he does belong here. Buffing his ally is good and his leap is a decent escape but what really makes Fafnir shine is his hammer throw and his ult. The hammer throw is simply a skill shot ability (Exactly like an Ullr Axe) which is great when you hit but you are unlikely to hit every hammer so you miss out on your primary cc ability. His ult is great and is really a game changer but the problem with it is the timer for it before you change back. If you ult at the wrong time you pretty much waste it for the team fight and then that puts your team at a disadvantage. Overall I think Fafnir can be good with the right team and a good Fafnir player but you could also just pick a better support and do a lot more for less.
