go beads first if you are not sure/they have strong cc (fenrir,ares,da ji, etc.), go blink first if you want to be aggressive early
wing shard is one of the things that made merc meta in s10, gives everything you want on merc

Protector of the Jungle
PASSIVE - While in the jungle you gain 15% Power and 12% Protections.

Golden Blade
PASSIVE - All Basic Attacks will also hit enemies within a 15 unit radius of the target for 50% of the damage to Gods, Minions and Jungle Camps.

Serrated Edge
PASSIVE - For every non-ultimate ability on cooldown you gain a stack of Cruelty. Each stack provides 8 Physical Power and 3% Physical Lifesteal.

Deathbringer
PASSIVE - Critical Strike bonus damage dealt is increased by 25%.
protector is just overall busted, golden blade allows you to power farm to get your items, crit is mandatory on merc, serrated edge gives some lifesteal and 20% pen so you can actually threaten tanks (katanas also give ms so it synergises w/ your passive)
look on the other teamcomp for counterbuilding or just go bloodforge every game

Bloodforge
PASSIVE - Killing an enemy god forges a shield from their blood with Health equal to 200 + 10 per Player Level for 20s. While the Blood Shield is active you gain +10% movement speed.

Arondight
PASSIVE - When your Ultimate ability has finished casting, reveal all enemy gods within 120 units for 8s. While moving towards revealed enemies gain 30% Movement Speed. When first striking a revealed target they take an additional 20 + 50% of your Physical Power. This can only occur once every 45 seconds. This item is only available to Assassins and Warriors.

Toxic Blade
PASSIVE - Enemies hit by your basic attacks have 15% reduced Healing and 5% reduced Attack Speed while you gain 5% increased Attack Speed, stacking up to 4 times and lasting 5s.
bloodforge if you don't want to think much, arondight helps you reveal people in stealth (loki, morri) and gives a bunch of ms
i also like selling my golden blade/shadowdrinker for toxic blade if you urgently need antiheal (but i don't like the item overall)

Magi's Revenge
PASSIVE - Protects you from a single hard Crowd Control effect once every 70 seconds. When this occurs, you gain 1s of Crowd Control immunity. <n>GLYPH - If an enemy God consumes your passive, they become Marked for Revenge for 5s, causing them to receive 10% more damage and granting allied Gods within 40 units 20% increased Movement Speed towards them.
magi's revenge helps a lot with the teams with lots of cc when beads alone is not enough to stay alive (also gives ms and damage boost)

Temporal Beads
Using this item removes Crowd Control Effects and makes you immune to new ones for 2s. Additionally, your active cooldowns are reduced by 3s on use. Cooldown - 140s.

Scorching Blink Rune
Using this item will allow you to teleport up to 45 units away instantly, leaving behind a trail of wildfire that burns Enemies that pass through it for 20 (+ 4 per level) True Damage every 0.5s for the next 4s. Enemies are damaged for 1.5s after leaving the flames. This item can not be used if you have taken or dealt damage in the last 3s. Cooldown - 120s.
scorching blink is good cuz you can 3 people back into the flame trail
also prioritize getting power potions and wards before upgrading relics




i like to max 2 right after 1 because it gives even more ms and a huge attack speed stim
also u get your 3 on lvl1 because it allows you to clear the starting jungle camp pull
