Chthonic - NA
Hades is not the best midlaner, seeing as he lacks poke and is generally unsafe. These considered though, his surprising early burst and high base health pool allow you to take enemies by surprise and steamroll through the early game.
This build is tailored in respect to three things: His early power curve, his late power dive, and his need to be a bruiser in the mid/late game

If you are confident in your own ability, you can rush Bancroft's to get amazing early game control and damage. If you're unsure about either yourself or the match up, just use this basic starter
Shoes of Focus
Y10 Bancroft's Talon
PASSIVE - You gain additional Magical Power and Lifesteal scaled from missing Health. This caps at 70 power and 10% Lifesteal at 40% Health.
Y10 Warlock's Staff
PASSIVE - You permanently gain +1 Health and +0.6 Magical Power per Stack, and receive 5 Stacks for a god kill and 1 Stack per minion kill. At 75 stacks this item Evolves, gaining 10% Magical Penetration and 25 Health.
Spear of Desolation
PASSIVE - If you receive a kill or assist on an Enemy God all of your non-ultimate cooldowns are reduced by 2 seconds and your ultimate cooldown is reduced by 6 seconds.
If you think you want to stack it, you can go for a Warlock's Staff after Bancroft's. If not, an Ethereal Staff works just as well. As a side note, Hades never gets Spear of the Magus, and he never gets Obsidian Shard. Someone else needs to be a tank buster. He just doesn't have the base damage or the range to justify getting it ever. Also, the ult shreds protections, you don't need Magus. Just get either Divine for anti-heal or Desolation if you don't.
Hide of the Urchin
PASSIVE - You gain +3 Magical Protection and +3 Physical Protection for each god kill or assist. At 7 stacks this item Evolves, providing a Health Shield that gains stacks every 2s. Shield only stacks if you have not taken or dealt damage in the last 5s. Each stack provides 10% of 100 Health +5 Per Level.
Mantle of Discord
PASSIVE - If you take damage below 40% health you unleash a shockwave that stuns all enemies within a range of 20 units for 1s and become immune to Crowd Control for 1s. This effect cannot trigger more than once every 110s.
Void Doumaru
AURA - Enemy gods within 55 units have their Magical Protection reduced by 10%.
Pick Urchin in general for a bit of tankiness, Discord if you're afraid they'll be killing you in your ult too easily, or Void Stone if you aren't that worried about dying and want a bit of offensive edge.
Rod of Tahuti
PASSIVE - Basic Attacks and Abilities gain 15% additional Magical Power against targets below 60% Health.
Chronos' Pendant
PASSIVE - Every 10s the Pendant activates, subtracting 1s from all of your abilities currently on Cooldown. The initial countdown will not start until you leave the fountain.
Doom Orb
PASSIVE - Killing or assisting an enemy minion provides you with 1 stack, granting 1% Movement Speed and 4 Magical Power per stack. Stacks last for 15s and stack up to 5 times. Enemy gods provide 5 stacks.
Rod of Tahuti is a good last item as it gives a lot of extra punch to your ult. Additionally, you can use Chronos' Pendant if you feel like you need the CDR or Doom Orb if it's to your flavor.

Late game, if you want to sell Bancroft's for something like... Shaman's, or a high power item, you can. Also, when you sell your shoes and get the speed potion, just use your best judgement as to what you need.
You should never get your silence at level 2. There is literally no reason. If you want to blight the wave safely, basic it. If you think you'll need defense, the leap is a leap. You can get it at level 3 if you need to, but I really prefer the extra level in Devour Souls. If you rushed Bancroft's Talon, you'll be able to full clear the wave at that point if you go the leveling route listed above.
Baron and Ra are immobile and are generally just overpowered by Hades. As far as Isis and Raijin, they both channel their clear, so you can shut them down pretty quickly. On that point, if you leap on Raijin and you're quick enough, you can fear him out of his leap and then just kill him. Late game you'll suffer a bit against Ra and Raijin, but you just need to be patient and when the opportunity arises, combo and kill them.
Hades, like all bruisers, suffer when he can't peel enemies off of him. People who stick to him will kill him easily. Additionally, Guardians that has an instant hard cc like Ganesha and Ymir can stop any diving you play to do, and in the late game, getting cc'd when you finish leaping usually results in death. And Awilix since she can pull you fairly easily since Hades has an incredibly long leap animation
