Mulan is a great warrior to play and you want to use her abilities as much as possible so they can evolve into their final forms granting you more buffs.

If you're jungling start with assassins blessing and warrior tabi's, depending on the enemy team comp decide whether or not you need void shield or ruinic shield

If you're solo start with attacker's blessing and warrior tabi's, depending on who you're up against build either void or runic shield

You don't have to buy a blessing if you want to rush one of the shields or boots but if you do get a blessing you will sell it mid game

I normally buy the chalice of healing in conquest matches to sustain myself but if I'm playing joust I'll avoid buying it entirely.

Most games I build one defense item and rush penetration items for high burst damage, it throws the other team off guard and if you can inflict fear into them then you have the advantage on the push and more lane control.

Notes

If you have expendable monies then buy the potion of physical might and the elixir of power. Try to grab damage camp whenever you can and stack these on top. Meditation Cloak is for sustaining yourself throughout combat and could make or break your engagement. Blink rune for quick escapes and surprise attacks.
