Notes

CDR can be built if they have a lot of gods that get free pulled (no cc immunity). Pestilence can be used over heartward if you are concerned about healing. As usual, defensive builds are always based on opponents.

Notes

Reinforced Greaves are a good situational item, CDR boots just like the winning build too. Order of Sov/Heartward is based on which damage type you're concerned about and again pestilence can be built if healing is an issue.

Notes

Slows/hard CC can catch Ares pretty easily and since he has no mobility he can just die. Outpressuring in lane and taking their jungle also puts them behind and doesn't let Ares go more damage and solo your carries.
