Tanks/bruisers ranked based on how safely and efficiently they can set up for the team with more emphasis on Safety. e.g. Sun Wokung has a great escape and one of the safest ultimates in the game is nowhere near S+ in terms of strength.

Insanely safe and able to 100 to 0 a squishy or provide constant setup for the team. Needs a little help from team to secure kills on anyone buying defense.

Safer than most and able to kill/assist with enemies that step slightly out of position. Every character deals high damage or provides a lot of CC. Many also have a CC immune ultimate.

Safer than most, but relies on some sort of coordination with the team to kill/assist on enemies that step out of position. Damage dealers will not have enough time to 100-0 targets before the enemy team attempts to peel. Tanks need teammates to be playing up with them in order to CC and burst down their targets.

Great for team fights, that is it. They have a movement ability, but it is either too short or is relied upon to get kills or aggress on the enemy team. Enemies must step way out of position for them to 1v1. Easily peeled

Good at team fights or insanely high damage with no escape. The team needs to play well or the enemy team needs to play poorly for these characters to shine.

Not enough tools to do anything on their own. Needs all 5 players to be playing correctly in order to do damage without feeding. Many rely too heavily on their ults and or actives.

Unsafe and provides very little to the teamfight.
