Most of the people are trying to practice new gods and have fun in Arena. However, if you would like to win again premade squads. Here are what gods to play and how to win the team fights. The ranking is mainly focusing on the team comp and team fighting side of things rather than individual performance.
Tier: (Gods in the same tier are in Guardian-Warrior-Assassin-Hunter-Mage order)
SS: Excellent gods couldn't go wrong with almost any comp.
S: Good team fight gods.
A: Average gods but certainly useful in some way.
B: Gods that are only good when against certain gods.
C: If you see your teammate picking these gods, prepare to hard carry them.
D: Automatically lose the game
ss
- Geb: One of the best defensive guardians, he counts a lot high tier gods that heavily rely on their single target CC(e.g. Nox, Fenrir, etc.). With the recent buff to his ult, his ult hit a lot harder in the early game. One downside of this god is that Geb is lacking good engagement abilities, which makes blink a must in terms of the relics. However, his knock-up is extremely powerful in terms of peeling and setting up for his teammates(Mulan grapple, Awilix ult, Ullr axe, etc.). Therefore, it is better to pair Geb with another aggressive frontline who can start a fight easily.
- Sobek: Sobek is a more balanced guardian, he creates decent pressure with his pluck. More importantly, his ult provides some safety and chase potential (e.g. after he uses his pluck, he can immediately go into his ult to avoid incoming CCs as well as waiting for the plucked target to jump back). On top of that, he had some build-in anti-healing and knockback in his kit which could come in handy against healer comps. It is better to pair Sobek with some gods that have hard CCs so that they can lock the plucked target in place.
- Ganesha: Ganesha is one of the best peel guardians, his immediate silence is like a death sentence for gods with channelling abilities(e.g. Fenrir, Susano, Basket, Herc, Charybdis). His ultimate is both a good engagement and follow-up tool. Since Ganesha only has one ability that can lock people in place, it is better to pair Ganesha with CC heavy comp(e.g. Nezha, Baron, Horus, Fenrir, etc.)
- Odin: One of the best team-fight gods because of his ult and survival ability. He is deadly for the gods without a way to get out of the cage. One huge weakness is that he is hard countered by silence. If Odin gets silenced, knocked up, or pulled right before his jump lands, his bird bomb combo will do no damage.
- Bastet: With the recent god rework, Bastet suddenly bumped up to a top-tier assassin. She has crazy burst damage, decent survivability, and low cooldown ult. Her cat can block autos that make hunters' life miserable.

- Tiamat: She has decent poke and follow-up CC. Normally she just uses her fly stance to poke and then transform to ground stance to finish the kill. She could dive the enemy backlines with their own frontlines due to the dmg mitigation from her group stance.
- Hercules: High skill cap god. If you are good at the 2-1 combo, he is one of the best beads burner. However, his combo can be easily interrupted by CCs. Hercules can build the movement speed items and just push people around to annoy them. Sometimes Hercules can make his teammate miss their abilities by randomly pushing or pulling people around.

- Kali: Typical late-game assassin. She could be strong around the 5 minutes mark if you are going the pen build. Hard countered by anti-healing and hard CCs. Her ult is strong in the end game.
- Anubis: High burst damage mage without escape ability. Anubis is good at quickly deleting one player with his 3-2-4 combo. He requires decent front liners and good positioning to work.
- Freya: Freya is a late-game monster. However, she requires someone to clear the wave for her to maximize the value of her abilities (similar to Zeus). She is good at self peeling against close-range divers but hard countered by ranged CCs.

Every god provides some value to the fights as long as they do not die.
