If you're familiar with Age of Mythology you can skip this read and save some time.
The idea is pretty simple after a run or two.
This tactic is mainly concentrated to Arena, but all the modes translate to it eventually.
You want to out-stat your opposing team early and pressure them.
Staying offensive as possible without dying. Wiping all the towers very early. (Spawn-Wipe in Arena)
+Able to Split into 2/2/1 Rushes if the other team cant stay together and punished if too close together to compensate
-Vulnerable Mid-Game if careless and baited or multiple isolations, also frontlines must be supported to not feed.
+Able to boom in late game without transitioning; Early Penetration helps keep tanks from pressuring
Hang onto Defender's Blessing until you've bought the following in order:
Elixir of Defense > Both Trinket Upgrades > Potion of Magical Might > Elixir of Power
Sell Defender's Blessing for Soul Reaver
Evolved Guardian's Blessing
+100 Health +10 Physical Protection and Magical Protection +7 HP5 & 7 MP5 while within 60ft of an ally god +3 Gold per Minion Assisted +4 GP5 ROLE QUEST: SUPPORT : COMPLETED!
Shoes of the Magi
Spear of Desolation
PASSIVE - If you receive a kill or assist on an Enemy God all of your non-ultimate cooldowns are reduced by 2 seconds and your ultimate cooldown is reduced by 6 seconds.
Mantle of Discord
PASSIVE - If you take damage below 30% health you unleash a shockwave that stuns all enemies within a range of 20 units for 1s and become immune to Crowd Control for 1s. This effect cannot trigger more than once every 110s.
Rod of Tahuti
PASSIVE - Basic Attacks and Abilities gain 15% additional Magical Power against targets below 60% Health.
Elixir of Defense
This consumable provides 50 Magical and Physical Protection, 10% Damage Mitigation, 20% Crowd Control Reduction, and decreases damage taken from Structures by 25% for 6 minutes. This effect persists through death.
S8 Magic Shell Upgrade
Using this item applies a shield to himself and allies within 35 units for 100 Health + 12 Health per God Level for 3 seconds. Additionally, all allies take 50% reduced damage from Basic Attacks while the shield is active. Cooldown - 150s.
Elixir of Power
This consumable increases your Magical and Physical Power by 25%, increases damage done to Structures by 25%, and grants 10% Penetration for 6 minutes. This effect persists through death.
Soul Reaver
PASSIVE - Your abilities deal an additional 1% of the target's maximum Health as Magical Damage. If the target has over 2250 Health, your ability bonus damage scales up. This effect reaches a maximum of 9% Maximum Health damage at 2750 Health. Subsequent hits on the same target do half the bonus damage for the next 3s.
