Tier Descriptions:

Any S Teir:  Above the point of balance, considered a bannable god.

SS:  Singlehanded carry regardless of comp

S+:  Nearly uncounterable, and is a 90-100% ban rate. The god is strong at all stages of the game, and is difficult to beat.

S:  Offers unrivaled pressure at their peak stage of the game. Easy to fit into almost any comp, and does their job safely and reliably.

S-:  Extremely potent at their peak stage of the game. Easy to fit into almost any comp, and does their job safely and reliably.

Any A Teir:  At the point of balance, considered a pickable god, or bannable in target ban situations.

A+:  Strong at their peak stage of the game. Doesn't require a team to be built around them, but can be counterpicked to become less safe or reliable.

A:  Average at their peak stage of the game. Can be counterpicked to become much less safe or reliable. Does better with a team picked to help them, but also doesn't completely require it.

A-:  Slightly below average at their peak stage, but can still be relied on to do their job. They can be easily countered, or otherwise shut down by picks and bans.

B Teir:  Below the point of balance, easily countered or unreliable.

B:  Difficult to achieve their peak stage, or otherwise unsafe or unreliable. They may also have a weak stage that is so crippling to a team that the entire draft must consider this one god.

C Teir:  Unpickable in most situations.

C:  Counterable with ease, and with many other picks that do their peak jobs better, as well, or safer.

D Teir:  So counterable or weak that any picks here may immediately lose the game.
